Renewal of Driving Licence –Instruction

  There is no time limit prescribed in the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 or the rules made there under within which as  application of renewal of driving licences can be made by an applicant prior to the date of its expiry.  After detailed discussion it has been decided that applications for renewal of Driving Licences can be entertained and considered it made within 6 months previous to the date of expiry of Driving Licences.
